Journey Church is looking for someone to provide executive-level assistance to our Lead Pastor. Our mission is to help people find and follow Christ, and since we started we have seen hundreds of lives changed. We are a modern, casual, Bible-teaching church with two services on Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 AM at Canary Creek Cinemas in Franklin. This is a part-time position, requiring at least ten hours a week of availability. Some work can be done at home, some at our offices and some will be done on Sunday mornings at Canary Creek Cinemas.
Qualified applicants will have experience as an assistant to one or more pastors, or as an executive assistant. Your responsibilities will include scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, updating and reporting information, coordinating office support volunteers and various other responsibilities as needed. You will also have a role on our Leadership Team, based on your gifts and passions. Part of your responsibilities will require you to be present on Sunday mornings.
We are in the process of purchasing a building for a permanent facility, and we expect to be in it by the end of summer. This is an exciting time to be a part of Journey!
