Giving to Journey with a smartphone is convenient and secure. A receipt for every transaction is sent to you via text and email, and all text giving will be included in your year-end giving statement.
Just text the amount you want to give to (317) 739-4422. (The $ sign is optional.) You’ll get a text back asking you to register (one time), and then you’re done. After that, giving is as simple as texting the amount you want to give! You can give with a debit or credit card. To give to the All In campaign, just enter the amount you want to give, followed by “allin” (no space). For example:
1000 allin (this will be designated for the All In campaign.)
1000 (since this has no keyword, it will go to the general offering.)
Setting Up Automatic, Recurring Giving:
Text the word “give” (without the quotes) to (317) 739-4422 and follow the instructions. You can set up more than one automatic donation. To set up recurring giving to the Generosity Project or the Building Fund, enter “generosity” or “building” (without quotes) in the Designation field. You can change or cancel your recurring giving any time.
Changing Your Information:
To edit or change your information, including contact, payment and recurring giving information, text the word “edit” (without quotes) to (317) 739-4422.
Is Text Giving Secure?
Yes. All financial information is stored with bank level security. All information is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to Level 1 PCI compliant standards. Level 1 PCI compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party, Level 1 PCI is the highest possible rating. Additionally all transmission to our banking partner and on our site is via an encrypted HTTPS connection. None of your information is stored on your phone.
