“Our hope in starting Journey was that it would make a difference in our community,  and around the world, and the Generosity Project is a big step in that direction. I’m proud of our church and I’m amazed at what God is doing!”
— Lead Pastor Jim Clayton
Part of the DNA of Journey Church is to cultivate a culture of generosity, not just for our church but for our community and our world. The purpose of the Generosity Project is to help people in our church, in our community, and in our world who need help. We raise money and collect clothing, school supplies, food, and other items to give away to people who need it, inside and outside our church. We support the Interchurch Food Pantry to help people in our community.  We also support the drilling of freshwater wells in Africa for villages that have never had fresh water through World Hope International (WHI).  We give also support church planting in other areas.

The amount above does not reflect many ways the people of Journey have given generously to help others in our community and around the world.

  • We fill shoeboxes with supplies for children around the world every Christmas.
  • We've donated coats, mittens, and gloves for Operation Bundle Up.
  • We've donated tons of canned goods to the Interchurch Food Pantry.
  • Many Journey families sponsor children through Compassion International.
  • And much, much more.

And we're just getting started!
